Growing up in south central Nebraska where fishing and hunting were a
part of rural life, I became fascinated by the beauty of the ring-neck
pheasant. The feathers of the pheasant are bright with an astonishing array
of colors, yet in perfect harmony with the landscape.
My love for the beauty of pheasant feathers has led to the artwork
you will see in my gallery. In
most of my pheasant feather artwork only the quill and downy part of the
feather is removed; the integrity of the colored portion and contour of the
feather always remains untouched.
My artistry relies on the subtle pattern and natural colors of
carefully selected feathers that come together to form a unique creation.
