Growing up in rural Nebraska where fishing and hunting were a part of life, I became fascinated by the beauty of the ring-neck pheasant.  The lure of pheasant feathers eventually let me to develop framed feather artwork.  Pheasants provide an unlimited palette of colors, shapes and patterns for this unique art.  The artwork is divided into series including Native American overtones such as Circles of Life and Dream Catchers.  Other series feature Hearts, Initials, and Musical Images.   My Pheathers Artistry provides a treasured (prized) gift for hunters, artwork for your home or business, or a special occasion for nature and wildlife enthusiasts.  I am proud to be a member of Pheasants Forever, a national organization, dedicated to the conservation of quality habitats for these wild game birds.

Growing up in south central Nebraska where fishing and hunting were a part of rural life, I became fascinated by the beauty of the ring-neck pheasant. The feathers of the pheasant are bright with an astonishing array of colors, yet in perfect harmony with the landscape.   My love for the beauty of pheasant feathers has led to the artwork you will see in my gallery.  In most of my pheasant feather artwork only the quill and downy part of the feather is removed; the integrity of the colored portion and contour of the feather always remains untouched.  My artistry relies on the subtle pattern and natural colors of carefully selected feathers that come together to form a unique creation.

Currently, Nebraska has approximately 60 chapters of Pheasants Forever—an organization dedicated to the conservation of quality habitats for wild pheasants.  I am proud to be a member at the national level.
